"Music has no borders, however there is a NATIONALITY" – Ryohei Inoue / leader of AUN J Classic Orchestra

Initiated by two active WADAIKO (Japanese drums) artists, Ryohei and Kohei Inoue of AUN, young and talented Japanese musicians were gathered together to form an orchestra, which soon became one of the most representative authentic Japanese music group of this kind. Based on the enchanting harmony of ancient Japanese sounds played by traditional instruments which their history dates back to 1000 years ago, AUN J Classic Orchestra intends to create their unique music genre by merging ancient sounds with modern tunes. The whole orchestra consists purely of traditional Japanese instruments including KOTO (Japanese harp), SHAKUHACHI (Japanese flute), TAIKO (Japanese drums) and SHAMISEN (Japanese guitar). They were the first Japanese to perform at some world heritage sites such as Mont Saint Michel (France) and at Gonfalone monastery in Rome (Italy). They are known to be the most successful traditional Japanese music group.
